POST GAME softgels are for athletes who push their bodies to the limit in competition and training day after day. POST GAME is designed to allow athletes to train and play at an intense level by minimizing the effects of muscle breakdown, fatigue and soreness, while improving recovery and immune system.
What to expect:
[ + ] Faster muscle recuperation
[ + ] Reduced feeling of soreness
[ + ] Increased immune system function
[ + ] Reduction of body fat
Zinc: An essential mineral that strengthens the immune system and is essential to cell division, growth, and repair. Zinc increases the production of protein, is involved in over 200 enzymatic reactions, and aids the body in the production of hormones such as growth hormone, testosterone, and insulin.
Glutamine: An amino acid that plays an important role in protein metabolism and minimizing muscle breakdown. Glutamine works with phosphatidylserine to promote protein synthesis, and prevents glycogen breakdown therefore increasing muscle strength.
Arabinogalactan: A fiber that is extracted from the larch tree, Arabinogalactan enhances activity of white blood cells. Together with Beta 1,3 D-Glucan, these compounds improve the responsiveness of the immune system.
Leucine: An essential branched chain amino acid. Leucine is the most abundant amino acid in skeletal muscle. Leucine helps preserve muscle tissue and glycogen stores.
N-Acetyl-l-Cysteine: A modified form of the amino acid Cysteine, N-Acetyl-l-Cysteine increases anti-oxidant levels in the body. Increased anti-oxidants speed recovery and reduce cell damage while aiding muscle growth.
Beta 1,3 D-Glucan: Derived from the cell walls of baker’s yeast, Beta 1,3 D-Glucan helps white blood cells fight foreign pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. This is especially important for athletes and weightlifters because immune activity is temporarily suppressed after strenuous physical activity.
Phosphatidlyserine: A phoshpolipid that reduces the level of cortisol activity in the body. Cortisol is a hormone secreted by the adrenal gland in response to physical and emotional stress. Excessively high cortisol levels have many negative effects on the body of an athlete including suppressed immune function, inhibition of many anabolic muscle building processes, and increased body fat storage. By reducing cortisol levels, phosphatidylserine will allow athletes to achieve greater muscle recovery and growth.
