GAME TIME Improves Running Time April 21st, 2009

”At 41 I decided to train for and run my first marathon. I have been running for about 5 years and am by no means a elite athlete but who doesn’t wish they had more energy and endurance?

I had the opportunity to try Training Day by chance and was so impressed with the out come.  I use GAME TIME for all my training runs, the shorter weekday runs I was finishing faster and had more energy besides feeling stronger.  The first time I used GAME TIME on a long weekend run, I had 20 miles scheduled, I used one drink 20 minutes before I started and then at about mile 14 when I start to really feel the drain, I was so surprised at the difference it made.  I ended up running 23 miles that day because I had the energy left.  I checked my time thinking I must have slowed down quite a bit to have that kind of energy still but was very surprised to find out I actually had taken quite a substantial amount off my best time!    I ran with a greater intensity and by far better endurance than previously with quicker recoveries and no side effects!  I have no doubt now that I will be able to run this marathon and not only finish but do it in a time that I may not have been able to do before.  I am very much looking forward to the race and will be packing Training Day in my bags!
